The end of the week...

It's the end of a relatively busy week. I say "relatively," because unemployed people like myself generally don't have packed schedules. As I think back over the week and all that happened (coffee with my friend Scott, playing music for Charlie and Kristy, volunteering for Brian, signing up for Netflix, continuing the job search process) it doesn't seem all that significant. But when I really reflect upon it, this week was full of stuff I love.

I spent time with some of my favorite people in the world. I
played drums with talented musicians. I watched The Office: Season 3 with my wife, laughing until we cried. I read the Bible. I finished a good book. I had a lot of free time to think. I prayed with some of my best friends. I had great conversations with my wife.

It was a good week.

  1. The Office is awesome. Not as good as the British version, but still hilarious! I can't wait for season 4 to start.
