Meeting the big guns

This morning, Katie and I had a conversation over coffee with Bob and Debbe Fox, the lead pastor at Red Mountain. They are both humble and confident, and have a great love for the Lord and His leading in their lives. Bob seems like a very wise, down-to-earth man; Debbe seems like a very kind and confident woman. I really enjoyed talking with them about life, ministry, church, and family. They sounded very supportive and available.

I think I liked that most about Bob: he made it clear that he was easily available and ready to help and support me in any way he could. That doesn't mean we would have to hang out every other day, but it does mean that he is an accessible leader. Being accessible is important. Showing your staff that you genuinely care about them is important too.

We like the Foxes!
