Packing...

I thought that I should write about our new adventure from my experience because you have heard a lot from Joel recently. I am sitting outside on our back porch and I am absolutely freezing. It is still about 65 degrees out here, but that is cold to me. So this is one of the main things I am looking forward to about our move. I will enjoy the weather.
Packing is definately not one of my favorite things ever. I am having to go through and get rid of a lot of stuff and this can be a tedious process. So far I have packed all of the books, DVD's, games and most of the nic-naks that we have. I am waiting on the kitchen and our clothing till later on in the week.
It is exciting as we begin to dream about our new apartment and how we are going to decorate. If you know Joel well you know that he is a very spatial thinker. He loves to just think and mull over how he is going to position furniture in a house. He is usually right too, it looks great when he is done. So this is an exciting time for him, he has a whole new place to think about. I am far more into colors and accessories. I have been thinking a lot about having a second bedroom and bathroom to decorate, I am excited to be able to decorate it.
I daily feel like there is so much to do and yet I have no idea where to start. I have to pack when I am motivated, if I hesitate even a little it does not happen.
Thank you all for your support and prayers these next few weeks as we make an incredible big transition. If you think about it you can pray that I find a job that fits me well. I am looking at a few right now and am just waiting on the Lord's timing. It is hard not going to work in the morning. I am getting a good taste at what Joel's life has been like these past months. I also recognize that it will be a little lonely in Mesa at first. I plan to spend my first few weeks there decorating and getting moved in as well as exploring the area that we will be living in and spending time with some good friends down there.
Thank you again. I will try to continue to update on how the packing process is going.
