Busy busy busy

Halloween is tomorrow, and so is a 5th-9th grade costume party at RMCC. I'm attempting to meet up with many of my youth staff this week, try to plan a budget for next year, work on two teaching series for the month of November (one for Sundays, one for Wednesdays), buy some candy and supplies for this party, and spend quality time with my wife and Jesus.

I'm slowly learning to pace myself. It's easy to become impatient when there's so much good stuff I want to do, cool events I want to plan, staff I want to equip, and students I want to show Jesus' love to.

Ministry keeps you busy. The hardest part of ministry is that you never arrive. It's an ongoing process of maturity and growth. Pointing students to Jesus and teaching them His ways will only end when He comes back and fully establishes His kingdom (then my teaching series will probably be obsolete!).
