A Drive-By Prayer

Every day, I drive north on Power Road from Southern Ave. to the Loop-202. Every day, I pass by Fremont Junior High, one of the schools where many of our junior high students attend. I have made it a discipline to pray for the students of Fremont every time I drive by it. I'm also starting to pray for students every time I drive by a junior high school...period. So Brimhall Jr High on Southern Ave, Shepherd Jr High on Alta Mesa, etc. I'm devoting my drive time to praying for students!

This is causing me to be more intentional with my prayer life. It also makes for an increasingly spiritual commute!

How can you use your drive time to connect with God and pray for others?

  1. Congrats on getting mentioned in the YS update! Keep up the good work.

  2. Hi Joel -

So, I see in San Diego, then you're highlighted in the YS Update. You're famous! Just as long as you stay true to your passion for dinosaurs...

  3. Cheryl-
It was a pleasant surprise to see you San Diego! And another big surprise that I'm in the YS update. Don't know who to thank for that one.... Hope you're doing well at IJM.

    Thanks for the encouragement!
