People vs. Buildings

Here's a post on a talk Francis Chan gave at the Catalyst conference last week. This is practicing the concept that the church is a community of people, not a building. While there are Godly reasons for building projects--Red Mountain is currently undergoing a building project, as they have outgrown their facilities and are taking a huge step of faith--it makes sense to me to use our resources to love those around us, especially the poor and oppressed. Buildings are temporary; people will be around for eternity.

Jesus seemed to do ok without a building too. :)
