A Broken World

First the tragedy in Myanmar, and now an earthquake in China. I'm honestly not sure how to personally respond, emotionally or practically, apart from prayer. When death and pain affect people on the opposite side of the globe, it can feel so distant and unreal. But these are our neighbors, the widow and orphan and homeless and naked and sick described in Matthew 25. And I want to be a sheep.

The organization Katie works (Food for the Hungry) for is responding, and invites you to participate. Click here to help. Perhaps we can make a small-but-significant difference in this tragedy.
