Our Portland whirlwind.

My dear friend Erin.

The boys devouring their pizzas

The girls looking very pretty!

Yesterday was a packed day. We woke up and spent a half an hour walking around Multnomah's campus before I met my friend Erin for breakfast. It was weird to walk around and see all the changes that have happened in the last two years. Yesterday was the beginning of new student orientation so it was fun to see all the students walk around confused. I also got to see two of the four RD's that I was on the RA team with. It was great to talk with them and just reconnect again.

I then met Erin for breakfast and we went to a small little coffee shop nearby. It was great to catch up with her again. She got married 6 months ago and it was fun to talk about marriage and the first few months. This dear friend was a huge reason I made it through Multnomah. She kept me sane. She has also been an incredible inspiration to me with everything that the Lord has had her walk through. I am so thankful for her friendship.

We then went down to Clackamas to surprise my sister at work. It was fun to walk in and see her face when she saw me. We then did some shopping at REI because they had an incredible sale going on. My sister found a travel bag that is just like the one that she bought me for my birthday, and it was on sale, for an incredible price. I also got a new pair of running shorts hopefully for my races this next year.

We then made our trip to Fossil after this and we bought some t-shirts. I absolutely love their clothes though I was slightly disappointed at their selection of clothing, oh well.
After this we met up with our friends Brian and Kristy and grabbed some coffee.

For dinner we went to our all time favorite pizza place. It is just a few blocks from our old house. We sat outside in the beautiful weather and ate some incredible pizza with our dear friends. It was a really good time of fellowship. We then went to the Academy Theater (a cheap $3 theater) and watching Iron Man. I was definitely surprised at how much I like this movie.

Today, I woke up and the first thought in my head was, "today I get to see Cindy". I get to see my best friend Cindy today whom I have not seen in the past two years. She is driving down and we are going to spend the afternoon together.

Today is also the wedding that we are really excited to go to. I am definitely a little tired, this trip has already been a whirlwind and we have a lot more to go.
