Call + Response

Call + Response is a documentary about both music and justice, about both art and slavery. It points to the disturbing truth that there is a multi-billion dollar sex slave industry that is happening all over the world. Combining music from artists like Talib Kweli, Imogen Heap, Switchfoot, and Moby, the film points out what is happening and what needs to be done.

While I haven't seen the film yet, I hope to get a chance to watch the Phoenix showing downtown. If anyone's interested in checking it out with me in the Phoenix area, let me know. Money quote from the trailer:

"Never forget, justice is what love looks like in public."
