Best Worst Movie

My best friend Brian loves bad movies. These are the "it's so bad, it's good" kind of movies. So for his bachelor party a few years back, I searched for the worst bad movie I could find. And I found Troll 2.

The acting in the film is absolutely atrocious. The directing doesn't make any sense. The script sounds like it was written by 6th grade boys (no offense to 6th graders, they rock). There is not a single mention of a troll in Troll 2. The goblins--not trolls--look like they're elementary school children wearing paper mache masks they made in art class. Yet this film is arguably the best bad movie ever created. This isn't in the same category as other bad movies. This isn't "it's so bad, it's good."

This is "it's so bad, it's completely awesome."

We laughed for two straight hours at Brian's party. I doubt anyone who watched it will ever forget it. So when I read that the child star of Troll 2, Michael Paul Stephenson, was creating a documentary about the increasing cult following of Troll 2, I was elated. This is for you, Brian. Check out the trailer for the documentary, Best Worst Movie. (note: there is mild language):
Do you appreciate really bad movies? Or are they just plain bad?
