Snubbing the Oscars

Hey, if the Academy wants to snub some of the best films of the year (WALL-E, The Dark Knight, Gran Torino, The Wrestler, Let the Right One In, The Fall, Paranoid Park, Rachel Getting Married, Happy-Go-Lucky), then I'm snubbing the Oscars. I'll be watching WALL-E this Sunday evening while the winners are announced. And if Heath Ledger, WALL-E, or Slumdog Millionaire gets robbed by the other nominees, it'll be one of the lamest Oscars to date. I guess there's always next year!

  1. Yes! I'm so sick of the way the Oscars is just a commercial for promoting films they want to see make more money. I loved "Let the Right One In" and "Rachel Getting Married"!

  3. The Oscars were actually better than the previous few years despite some of the best films being snubbed. Hugh Jackman was actually quite funny and talented. The whole production was actually pretty good and they made fun of themselves having to make cut backs on the show. The only lame part was Sean Penn's acceptance speech, but that was it.
