Cold Broccoli

Mark casually said something this week that has stuck with me. A paraphrase:
Procrastinating on having awkward conversations with people is like letting broccoli get cold sitting on your plate--you're still going have to eat it, but now it's going taste even worse.
You know that the broccoli--the conversation--is going to lead to healthiness, but it just takes that discipline to make yourself do it. Sometimes we just have to have those tough conversations even if we don't want to because just letting it go won't lead to anything good. To take the metaphor one step further: if you let broccoli sit too long on the plate, it starts to grow mold.

So what broccoli are you letting get cold?
