Remembering and Rebuilding

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the devastating earthquake that occurred in China. Around 90,000 people were killed or are still missing. Katie wrote about remembering the past at her blog, Sponsor Impact. In being worried about the economy or swine flu or our own busy schedules, we may forget about the realities of people in China still struggling to rebuild their lives after an incredible tragedy.

It's not just about people in China. It is remembering families affected by any tragedy, no matter how great or small. It is taking the time to be still and remember, to pray and offer hope and support to people whose wounds are still healing, to help them rebuild their lives.

Who do you need to remember that has experienced a tragedy in the past year? Commit to loving them and coming alongside to help them rebuild.
