Timely Grace

This past Sunday afternoon, I baptized a 91-year-old man. A veteran from World War II, the joy on his face coming out of the water was a beautiful picture of the hope found in the resurrection.

It's never too late for grace.

I also baptized a child, a young boy barely able to keep his head above the water near my waist. He eagerly gripped my hand as I laid him back in the water.

It's never too early for grace.

It's always the right time for repentance and redemption.
